Our Story

JC Holistics is a complementary therapy practice led by Janine, a dedicated practitioner who is committed to improving the lives of their clients. With a background in training management, Janine made the decision to change career in her early 40's and decided to explore complementary therapies, an area that had always been of interest, signing up to an intensive training course in Fusion massage in early 2017. In March that year she opened JC Holistics, initially working from a space in Ashton, Preston and within Darwen Osteopathic Clinic. Since then, She has expanded her treatment menu to include Reiki,  to which she has been attuned since 2006 and Reflexology. Janine is now an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist with expertise in massage for differing health conditions such as oncology massage and specialising in manual lymphatic drainage and post operative massage. In September 2025, Janine opened a new clinic in her home town of Darwen, a long standing dream of hers and has now recruited Chloe Pearce of Chloe's Holistic Therapies to work alongside her in the Darwen Clinic.

Janine will operate from the Darwen Clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays and from her home in Fulwood on Thursdays and Friday.

Chloe works full time from the Darwen Clinic, working Monday to Friday, with a late evening on Wednesdays.
